Role Overview

This opportunity is for a Computational Fluid Dynamics Engineer in Bengaluru with a focus on advanced simulation, modelling, and analysis for mechanical systems. The position is suited to an engineer who can work closely with design teams, improve product and system performance, and communicate findings clearly to support technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create CFD models and carry out advanced simulation studies and analysis.
  • Prepare CFD meshes and perform both steady-state and transient CFD evaluations using widely used commercial platforms such as ANSYS, STAR-CCM+, and OPENFOAM.
  • Work alongside design teams to help refine and optimize mechanical system designs and support the design workflow.
  • Build user-defined routines to expand the capabilities of commercial simulation software using Python and C++.
  • Prepare clear, concise verbal and written technical reports to support design decisions and address issues.

Education and Experience

The role calls for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and around 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in CFD and related engineering work.

Required Technical Background

  • Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer fundamentals, and numerical methods.
