Role summary

This full-time, on-site position is based in Honolulu, HI. The Cleaning Specialist will handle thorough cleaning of residential and commercial properties, making sure assigned areas consistently meet company standards. The job involves routine cleaning work, proper use of equipment and supplies, safe handling of chemicals, and professional interaction with clients and coworkers.

Key duties

• Carry out detailed cleaning in homes and commercial spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens, and disinfect frequently touched surfaces as required.
• Refill cleaning and restroom supplies when needed.
• Collect and remove trash and recycling from assigned areas.
• Use cleaning tools and equipment correctly and keep them in good working condition.
• Follow safety practices and chemical-use instructions at all times.
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to the appropriate person promptly.
• Work professionally with clients and team members.
• Adhere to daily work schedules and complete cleaning checklists accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with routine cleaning work such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and restroom cleaning.
• Knowledge of basic safety practices and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Strong focus on detail, good time management, and the ability to follow instructions with limited supervision.
• Dependable transportation to job locations in Honolulu, HI, and readiness for a steady full-time schedule.
• Clear, courteous communication and the ability to work well within a diverse team.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry supplies or equipment during the shift.
• Experience in residential or commercial cleaning is an advantage, though not mandatory because training will be offered to suitable candidates.
• A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
