What the work may include

• Review AI-produced auto insurance claim decisions for accuracy, correct coverage handling, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Create FNOL scenarios that include intentional conflicts, decoy documents, and outdated paperwork to challenge the system’s reliability.
• Develop and score fraud-detection cases using structured reasons such as late reporting, a recently purchased policy, or inconsistent damage details for SIU referral.
• Build subrogation scenarios using state-level negligence frameworks, including comparative and contributory rules, and judge the chance of recovery.
• Prepare clear test cases with the correct answer, policy references, and payout computations.

Candidate profile

This role is best suited to professionals from insurance claims, legal services, or wider financial services backgrounds who are comfortable with part-time, non-permanent project work. Strong written English is essential.

• A degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related subject is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in insurance, claims, legal, or financial services is expected.
• Recent or current experience in claims handling, adjusting, or a closely related function is valuable.
• Good knowledge of auto insurance coverage decisions, state negligence rules, and adjuster authority-limit practices is important.
• Credentials such as AIC, CPCU, CIFI, or SCLA are a plus, though not mandatory if practical experience is strong.
• Applicants should have strong written English at C1 level or above.

How the engagement works

The process follows a simple sequence: apply, complete the qualification steps, join a project, complete assigned tasks, and receive payment.

Time commitment

Expected workload is around 10 to 20 hours per week during active project periods. This is only an estimate and is not guaranteed; it applies solely while the project is active.

Compensation

Contributors may earn up to the equivalent of $60 per hour, depending on their level of expertise and pace of work. Pay can differ from one project to another based on scope, complexity, and the expertise required.
