Overview
This full-time cashier role is based at Petro-Canada in Peace River, Alberta. The position is carried out entirely at the workplace, so remote work is not available.

Responsibilities
- Handle transactions using the cash register.
- Scan products accurately at checkout.
- Accept payments for merchandise and services.
- Count daily or shift cash receipts and match them against total sales.
- Keep shelves stocked and maintain a clean counter area.
- Welcome customers and provide courteous service.
- Bag or package purchased items for customers.
- Weigh produce and bulk food items when needed.
- Support shoppers with self-checkout machines.
- Watch entry and exit points and ask for proof of payment when appropriate.
- Take part in promotions and in-store marketing activities.
- Check customer age when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
