Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site Bellperson position based in Riyadh. The role centers on greeting arriving guests, managing baggage, escorting guests to and from their rooms, and introducing them to the hotel’s services and facilities.
The Bellperson also helps coordinate activity in the lobby and at the entrance, ensures luggage is handled, stored, and delivered in a timely manner, and supports reception with guest-related requests. In addition, the position includes arranging transportation, giving directions, answering guest questions, keeping public arrival areas neat, and maintaining a polished, service-oriented presence at all times.
Key Duties
- Welcome guests on arrival and provide a courteous first impression.
- Handle luggage carefully, including tagging, storage, movement, and delivery.
- Escort guests between the lobby and guest rooms as needed.
- Explain hotel amenities, services, and relevant facility information.
- Keep the lobby and entrance area organized, clean, and presentable.
- Support reception by responding to guest needs and service requests.
- Arrange transportation assistance and share local directions when required.
- Respond to guest queries in a professional and helpful manner.
- Coordinate lobby and entrance activities efficiently.
- When assigned as Bell Captain, oversee bell staff and manage daily task allocation.
- Assist with training, coaching, and mentoring bell staff on service standards and procedures.
- Follow all safety and security procedures while delivering dependable guest service.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should bring strong communication and guest service abilities, along with experience in front-facing hotel or receptionist-type work. Prior work in hospitality, guest services, or a similar environment is considered a strong advantage.
The role also requires the ability to handle baggage safely and efficiently, maintain a professional appearance, and work reliably in a luxury hospitality setting. Physical stamina is important, as the position involves standing, walking, and lifting luggage during the shift. A working knowledge of English is expected, and any additional language capability will be helpful. Familiarity with the local area, transport options, and nearby attractions is also useful for assisting guests.
Additional Information
This position is part of a pre-opening hotel team, so selected team members will contribute to establishing the property’s service standards and operational routines from the beginning.
