About the Role
We are hiring Baristas for Starbucks at Edinburgh Airport. This is a lively hospitality position within SSP’s airport environment, where you’ll help deliver quick, friendly service to customers throughout the day and night.
The pay starts at £12.85 per hour and can rise to £14.05 per hour. In addition, you receive an extra £1.20 per hour for shifts worked between midnight and 6:00 AM.
Both full-time and part-time options are available. The role requires flexible availability across weekdays, weekends, bank holidays, and public holidays. As this is a 24-hour operation, early starts from 3:00 AM are required.
SSP operates well-known food and beverage brands across airports, train stations, and motorway service areas in the UK & Ireland. This role offers the chance to work in a busy, customer-focused setting with a fast pace and strong team energy.
About You
- You enjoy working with people, staying active, and bringing a positive attitude to every shift.
- You communicate kindly and bring good energy to the team.
- You must be available to start work from 3:00 AM.
- Five years of references and a criminal record check are required.
- You must be 18 or older, as some duties and shifts involve tasks that require this age, including handling and selling alcohol.
The Barista Role
- Learn and develop knowledge about drinks, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Share product information with customers and prepare beverages to match individual requests.
- Provide warm, efficient service and keep customers satisfied.
- Maintain a tidy, clean, and welcoming work area throughout every shift.
