Role overview

The Area Sales Supervisor will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations across assigned locations or within a defined territory, making sure work is completed efficiently and to the expected standard. The role focuses on leading teams, supporting sales performance, and helping the business meet operational and commercial goals.

Key responsibilities

Provide onboarding, job-specific training, and continuous guidance so team members can meet performance expectations.
Track employee performance on a regular basis, carry out reviews, and share feedback while identifying development needs.
Plan staff schedules and support workforce planning activities.
Take part in recruitment activities, including interviewing and selecting new hires.
Apply company policies and procedures, along with legal, safety, and health requirements.
Oversee daily operations across multiple locations or a designated area and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Introduce and execute improvements that raise efficiency, productivity, and overall business results.
Manage stock levels, maintain sufficient inventory, and help control costs.
Encourage teamwork and coordination both within the team and across departments.
Review budgets, analyze financial statements, and suggest needed adjustments.
Study performance reports, metrics, and sales figures to spot trends and improvement opportunities.
Carry out additional tasks assigned by the direct manager.

Education

A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a closely related discipline is required.

Experience

Applicants should have more than 5 years of experience in frontline supervisory roles.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
At least 5 years of frontline supervisory experience.
