Role overview
An opportunity is available for an Accountant who can manage core accounting tasks while also helping modernize the finance function through AI-led automation. The employer operates in the entertainment and hospitality sector and is actively expanding, with a strong interest in creating a finance setup that is efficient, tailored to business needs, and technology-enabled.
The position reports to the CFO and combines hands-on accounting responsibilities with process improvement and automation work.
Key duties
- Handle month-end close activities, general ledger work, and fixed asset accounting.
- Take care of tax submissions and ongoing compliance obligations.
- Prepare financial analysis and management reporting.
- Assist with payroll-related tasks.
- Develop automation solutions using tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI platforms.
Required profile
- Qualified accountant or someone with equivalent relevant experience.
- Proven end-to-end accounting background in a fast-paced, high-volume setting such as hospitality or retail.
- Strong practical experience applying AI tools to automate work, supported by clear examples of implementation.
- Must be based in Dublin, or close enough to attend the office three days each week.
- Must already have the legal right to work; sponsorship is not available, and Stamp 1G is not suitable.

Additional information
