Role summary
The Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales and service outcomes within the assigned territory, covering data services such as internet bandwidth, MPLS and cloud, along with voice postpaid, broadband and fixed-line business. The role acts as the main customer contact from the company’s side and is accountable for improving customer market share and revenue market share in both existing and new accounts.
Key deliverables
- Meet assigned targets for data, voice and fixed-line installations.
- Acquire new accounts across data, voice and fixed-line segments.
- Increase sales in current and new customer accounts through cross-selling of multiple products.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline for all three business lines with the required level of maturity.
- Track competitor plans and gather market intelligence.
- Review competing offerings and plan sales actions for different customer segments.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers in the assigned territory.
- Develop and sustain long-term customer relationships.
- Negotiate and finalize orders and contracts to drive revenue growth.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling with existing clients.
- Coordinate timely delivery of solutions according to customer requirements.
Profile requirements
Applicants should hold a graduate qualification and have 1 to 5 years of relevant experience. The preferred age range is up to 30 years. The ideal background includes experience in ISP, systems integration, field sales, telecom, wireline, IT/ITeS, BFSI, or other relationship-driven selling environments.
