Role Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing collections activity across a region, with a focus on resolving delinquent and non-performing accounts through practical recovery approaches. The role also requires close coordination with internal and external collection partners while ensuring that all actions follow company policies and applicable regulations.
Company Overview
Aditya Birla Housing Finance Limited (ABHFL), part of Aditya Birla Capital Limited, is a housing finance company registered with the National Housing Bank under the National Housing Bank Act, 1987. The business provides a broad mix of housing finance products, including home loans, home improvement loans, home construction loans, balance transfer and top-up loans, loans against property, and construction finance. ABHFL obtained its licence on 9 July 2014 and has ambitious expansion plans.
The company has delivered steady growth along with sound asset quality despite market challenges. Although the housing finance market is led by a few major players, there is strong opportunity in segments such as affordable housing and self-employed borrowers. With increasing competition from banks, HFCs have continued to hold their position in the mortgage market, and ABHFL is targeting rapid scale-up to 5X growth, reaching INR 40,000 crore in the next five years. This would place the company among the top 5 percentile of HFCs in India.
ABHFL’s sales structure serves three broad customer groups: retail customers, institutional customers, and builders. Retail business remains the largest contributor. The customer base can further be split into salaried and self-employed segments, each with distinct financial needs and buying behaviour.
