About the Role

This is a full-time Workshop Store Person position based in the Redlands/Capalaba area, working Monday to Friday. The role focuses on keeping the workshop store running smoothly, supporting technicians, and ensuring customers receive reliable service.

As you gain experience and complete training, the role may expand into on-site support work, including gas detector calibration assistance, height safety and fall arrest equipment inspections, and breathing apparatus servicing. This offers the chance to build practical skills in specialised safety equipment servicing over time.

Key Duties

• Load and unload trucks and trailers safely and efficiently
• Receive freight and manage packing and receipt of orders
• Prepare jobs for technicians
• Keep stock organised and maintain a clean, tidy workshop environment
• Drive a company vehicle to deliver or collect items from sites as needed
• Support technicians with day-to-day tasks
• Work in a safe manner at all times
• After training and experience, assist with gas detector calibration work
• After training and experience, support inspections of height safety and fall arrest equipment
• After training and experience, assist with breathing apparatus servicing
• Support technicians on project work when required
• Represent the company professionally while attending customer sites

What We’re Looking For

The ideal applicant will already have experience with freight handling, packing, and order processing, and will be comfortable working as part of a team. You should be able to follow detailed instructions and procedures carefully, be physically fit with no lifting restrictions, and take pride in keeping your workspace exceptionally clean and organised.

You’ll also need to be willing to learn more about the business, begin with workshop-based training, and progress into on-site technical work once you are ready.

Essential Requirements

• Current driver’s licence
• Current forklift licence
• Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain Federal Police clearance
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Commitment to following detailed instructions and procedures exactly
• Experience in freight handling, packing, and receiving orders
• Physically fit with no lifting restrictions
• Strong organisation skills and a clean work ethic
• Willingness to learn about the business
• Willingness to complete workshop training before moving into on-site technical work

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Exposure to gas detectors, breathing apparatus, or height safety equipment
• Working at Heights certification
