About Fleetlery
Fleetlery is a rapidly expanding logistics company focused on developing advanced operational infrastructure for urban delivery and logistics. We are currently establishing a new parcel sorting and dispatch warehouse in Berlin and are seeking a proactive Warehouse Manager to lead its establishment and operations from inception. This role offers a significant opportunity to shape processes, build a team, and cultivate a high-performing warehouse environment within a dynamic setting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all daily warehouse activities, including parcel sorting, dispatch, and outbound logistics.
- Lead and direct teams comprising pickers, warehouse staff, and couriers.
- Ensure the seamless flow of parcels from receipt to final dispatch.
- Monitor and enhance sorting, staging, and dispatch procedures to achieve peak operational efficiency.
- Strategize workforce deployment and schedule shifts according to operational needs.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies for ongoing improvement.
- Uphold stringent standards for productivity, quality, and workplace safety.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of warehouse processes, systems, and operational protocols.
- Actively engage in warehouse operations and provide leadership by example, especially during high-demand periods.
- Collaborate effectively with management and external stakeholders to guarantee smooth operational execution.
Your Profile
- Possess 3 to 7 years of experience in warehouse management, fulfillment, logistics, parcel delivery, or similar operational fields.
- Prior experience in the CEP/KEP (Courier, Express & Parcel) sector is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated success in establishing, launching, or scaling warehouse operations.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- A hands-on approach with a readiness to participate directly in operational tasks as required.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- A data-driven perspective with experience in managing KPIs and operational performance metrics.
- Capacity to thrive and perform under pressure in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and operational reporting tools is beneficial.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is a significant asset.
