Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor

Role overview

Diamond Meat Processing LLC is seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role is focused on overseeing warehouse operations, inventory discipline, team performance, safety compliance, and continuous improvement across storage and distribution processes.

Key responsibilities

• Help shape and roll out warehouse policies, procedures, and operational goals.
• Track departmental spending, keep it within budget, and recommend corrective steps when required.
• Assess warehouse space requirements, study expansion feasibility, and identify ways to reduce costs.
• Improve and streamline day-to-day warehouse processes.
• Follow up on staff training activities to raise operational effectiveness.
• Put in place work plans and improvement initiatives that support process enhancement.
• Maintain warehouse system discipline, store layout control, and FEFO/FIFO practices.
• Safeguard inventory accuracy and investigate any mismatches between records and physical stock.
• Take part in inventory audits and confirm that system data matches actual inventory.
• Assist in setting safety stock guidelines with planning and capacity considerations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industrial rules, including fire safety, electrical safety, PPE, and related standards.
• Keep records and documentation current in line with quality management requirements.
• Lead the warehouse team and respond to warehouse-related requests and issues.
• Make sure staff follow quality and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with the finance team to monitor and control warehouse-related costs.
• Review team performance and provide coaching plus improvement plans where needed.
• Share regular reports, KPIs, and performance metrics with management.
• Support team growth and department capability through training and knowledge transfer.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by direct management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in any discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in the food industry.
• Strong leadership ability with the confidence to motivate, guide, and support a team.
• Effective communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
• Hands-on experience with inventory and warehouse management systems.
• Knowledge of distribution operations.
• Ability to prepare reports and perform operational analysis.

Additional information

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Dubai. The role involves managing the full warehouse team, handling warehouse concerns, and contributing to cost control, compliance, and process improvement across the operation.
