Role Summary

This full-time, on-site position in Doha, Qatar is for a Waiter who will handle guest service from arrival to payment. The role centers on welcoming diners, sharing menus, taking orders accurately, and delivering food and drinks promptly and professionally. The position also involves keeping tables and the dining area orderly, working closely with kitchen and bar staff, answering questions about dishes, suggesting menu items, and supporting special dietary or custom requests. In addition, the Waiter will assist with billing, maintain hygiene and safety standards, and help the team manage busy periods smoothly.

Key Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit.
• Present menu options, explain items confidently, and offer suitable recommendations.
• Record food and beverage orders accurately and pass them through to the relevant teams.
• Serve dishes and drinks in a timely, polished, and professional manner.
• Set up tables before service and clear them efficiently afterward.
• Keep the dining area neat, clean, and visually presentable at all times.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth and well-timed service.
• Respond to guest queries, special requests, and dietary needs with care.
• Prepare and process bills and payments correctly.
• Follow all health, hygiene, and safety requirements.
• Support coworkers during peak service periods and contribute to a cooperative team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Strong guest-handling ability with solid customer service and communication skills.
• Practical knowledge of food and beverage service operations.
• Basic familiarity with cooking or food preparation to discuss menu items confidently.
• Comfortable working in a busy hospitality setting, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Careful attention to detail, dependability, and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
• Prior restaurant or hotel service experience is preferred.
• Basic English is required; additional languages will be an advantage.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time onsite role in Doha, Qatar. The position requires availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of hospitality operations.
