About VaynerX

VaynerX is a collective of businesses focused on building brands for the present moment. Established by Chairman Gary Vaynerchuk in January 2017, the parent company includes relevance-led ventures such as VaynerMedia, ChukMedia, Tamara Group, Gallery Media Group, Eva Nosidam Productions, Tingley Lane Trading, and VaynerSpeakers.

About VaynerMedia

VaynerMedia is a worldwide creative and media agency designed around today’s consumers. Operating as a modern agency of record, it combines creative and media thinking to help brands earn attention, stay relevant, and achieve business outcomes. Founded in 2009 by Gary Vaynerchuk, the independently owned company has offices across 15 locations globally, including Singapore, Amsterdam, Bangkok, Chicago, New Delhi, Kuala Lumpur, London, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Miami, New York, Tokyo, Toronto, and Sydney. It is part of the VaynerX group.

Across APAC, the team is guided by a culture-first and empathy-led approach. Diverse backgrounds come together to create strategic and imaginative solutions centered on people, helping major brands connect with attention and culture throughout the region.

The Opportunity

This full-time position is based in Singapore and sits within the consulting team. The role is suited to someone who puts people first and enjoys working on content that performs across platforms.

As a Views Editor, you are more than a traditional editor. You are expected to think like a performance creative who understands how content succeeds only when it drives results. The role sits at the meeting point of culture, platform behavior, and execution, with a focus on turning strong creative into scalable, high-performing content through repeated testing and refinement.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for shaping content that connects strongly with audiences and delivers measurable attention outcomes.

  • Produce content that creates meaningful audience engagement and drives metrics such as views, likes, comments, shares, and retention.
  • Act as a platform-aware editor with strong command over hooks, pacing, structure, and audience retention across social channels, while refining and remixing content for stronger performance.
  • Own the ongoing tuning of creative work so it performs better on each platform.
  • Transform raw footage into finished video assets that are tailored for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, with a performance-first approach rather than a purely post-production mindset.
  • Keep current with algorithm shifts, new formats, creator trends, and editing practices to ensure content remains relevant and competitive.
  • Contribute ideas actively and participate in ideation sessions, while understanding that the main value of the role comes from making the work effective through execution and iteration.
  • Work closely with teammates and other departments to respond quickly to urgent requests and short turnaround times.
  • Join creative brainstorms, project kickoffs, and team meetings, bringing ideas that help shape performance-led strategy.
  • Guide creators and, in some situations, art directors and copywriters by sharing best practices in ideation, execution, and performance optimization under the direction of the A/CD.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of professional creative experience, with a clear interest in creating content across platforms such as social, streaming, AR, music, film, and interactive media.
  • Prior experience working as a video editor, ideally in advertising, digital media, or a similar environment.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • Strong creative production ability, including the capability to take video and motion work from concept through final delivery.
  • Good knowledge of social platform conventions and performance measurement.
  • A dependable, accountable, and proactive approach, with the ability to take initiative independently.
  • Strong teamwork and cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to contribute positively to group dynamics.

Work Environment

The company describes its approach as more of a lab than a traditional agency. The focus is on solving business problems, experimenting with new ideas, and testing hypotheses rather than creating advertising for its own sake. The work culture values entrepreneurship, speed, and a willingness to try unconventional approaches when they lead to better craft.

The pace is closer to a startup than a conventional agency, and the team expects applicants to be energized by that environment, by collaboration with a talented group, and by working with major brands.
