Position details

The role is for a Venture Capital Expert. It is a remote contract position with an hourly compensation rate of $100. The engagement is expected to last at least four weeks, and the weekly commitment is 10 or more hours.

Responsibilities

• Review venture capital projects and prepare board-level presentation materials.
• Carry out market sizing and TAM assessments to support investment choices.
• Draft concise investment summaries, analysis notes, and memoranda for strategic use.
• Identify and source potential deal flow within the venture capital ecosystem.
• Handle work independently and on an asynchronous schedule while meeting deadlines.
• Contribute to assignments that may lead to future collaboration opportunities with Mercor.

Qualifications

Applicants should bring at least 2 years of venture capital experience from top firms. The role also calls for prior work on board materials, strong market sizing and TAM analysis capability, experience writing investment or analysis memos, and the ability to source deals.

Compensation and legal terms

• This is an hourly contractor arrangement.
• Payment is made on a weekly basis.
