About the Role
Join a global logistics leader and take on a hands-on position that supports trailer movement and package flow in a busy operation. In this role, you will couple and uncouple tractor trailers, position equipment for loading and handling, and contribute to day-to-day site efficiency. Other tasks may be assigned as needed.
What You’ll Do
- Set up the work area with the right equipment, following current guidelines.
- Help arrange the required setup for operations.
- Unload parcels manually or with machinery when required.
- Inspect incoming units for count accuracy and overall condition.
- Use the proper scanning tools to process packages.
- Separate parcels by the required process, such as department or destination, and place them in the designated storage areas.
- Complete paperwork or digital records and verify the information in the relevant system or format.
- Move vehicles into the correct positions based on the dock layout.
- Keep the work area clean during operations and after tasks are completed.
- Escalate equipment or process issues to the supervisor.
Shift Schedule
Sunday: 13:00 to 18:00
Monday to Thursday: 12:00 to 17:00
Qualifications
- You must satisfy the local age and operational rules required to drive a vehicle.
- You should understand basic package handling practices.
- A high school diploma, GED, or an internationally recognized equivalent is required.
- Having 2 years of driving experience is preferred.
