Role overview
Join a software product development team as a UX/UI Designer and help shape digital experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and visually polished. This position focuses on turning business goals and user needs into practical design solutions that deliver a consistent experience across different platforms and products.
Compensation and employment details
- Base pay sits between £45,000 and £51,000, depending on experience.
- You will also receive a £4,000 bonus plus a strong company benefits package.
- This is a permanent role.
- The working model is mostly remote, with one day each month required in Central London.
Application requirement
Applicants must submit an online portfolio. It will be reviewed by the hiring manager and should be easy to browse, visually refined, and rich in case studies. Each case study should clearly show the problem, your design approach, the reasoning behind your decisions, the iterations you explored, and the final results.

Key responsibilities
- Create user interfaces and experiences that are clear, attractive, and simple to use.
- Convert user needs and business requirements into thoughtful design outcomes.
- Work with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and help define user stories.
- Produce wireframes, mock-ups, user journeys, and interactive prototypes, mainly in Figma.
- Maintain a strong focus on user-centred design throughout the design process.
- Help ensure design consistency across products by working within established design systems or UI frameworks.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate has worked in a software, product development, or SaaS environment and brings proven UX and UI design experience. You should be comfortable collaborating across teams and applying solid user-centred design principles in your work.
Technical and design requirements
- Hands-on experience in both UX and UI design.
- Background working in software, product, or SaaS teams.
- Ability to partner closely with developers and product managers.
- Strong understanding of user-centred design methods.
- Proficiency with modern design tools, especially Figma.
- Experience creating wireframes, mock-ups, user flows, and interactive prototypes.
- Exposure to design systems or UI frameworks such as Material Design, MUI, or Carbon.
