Utility Cleaner- Steward

About the Role

This position supports key hotel operations by keeping work areas clean and organized across departments such as the kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry. The role focuses on ensuring that clean linens, tableware, and equipment are ready for use, while helping maintain smooth day-to-day service in a hospitality setting.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with cleaning tasks in different hotel departments, including kitchen, F&B, and laundry areas.
• Prepare spotless dining ware and fresh linens for guest use.
• Operate and care for cleaning equipment such as dishwashers, hand wash stations, linen washers, and dryers.
• Move dishware, linens, and related items around the property as needed.
• Follow safety practices, company procedures, and quality expectations at all times.
• Maintain professional standards in appearance, behavior, and communication.
• Build cooperative working relationships with colleagues and support shared team goals.
• Respond appropriately to concerns raised by team members or supervisors.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Carry out other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.

What We’re Looking For

• No high school diploma or GED is required.
• No previous work experience is needed.
• No supervisory background is required.
• No license or certification is necessary.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Comfort with standing, sitting, or walking for long periods.
• Ability to bend, twist, reach overhead and below the knees, stoop, and perform similar physical tasks.
