Role summary

This full-time, on-site position is based in the Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area and centers on safe traffic control at a range of project sites. The person in this role will help direct traffic, manage signs and equipment, follow legal and safety requirements, and work closely with the operations team to keep day-to-day work moving smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Guide vehicle and site traffic to support safe and orderly movement.
• Install and remove traffic signs, devices, and related control equipment as needed.
• Monitor traffic conditions and respond to changing site requirements.
• Work in line with local laws, safety rules, and traffic management procedures.
• Coordinate with operations staff, teammates, and other stakeholders to resolve traffic-related issues.
• Support efficient workflows across different project locations.

Required qualifications

• Working knowledge of traffic control and road traffic management practices.
• Exposure to traffic management and operations coordination.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for team and stakeholder coordination.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance with applicable traffic regulations.
• Valid traffic control certification or an equivalent credential, such as Traffic Control Person certification.
• Ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Prior experience in a similar position is preferred but not mandatory.
