About the Role

Trulioo is hiring a Total Rewards Specialist to join its People team. This position reports to the Manager, People and blends compensation expertise with a strong emphasis on data, automation, and scalable processes. The role supports the development and execution of global rewards programs while using modern tools, AI-assisted methods, and workflow improvements to increase efficiency, strengthen insights, and support better decision-making.

The role is based in Vancouver, British Columbia and is structured as a full-time, permanent position. It follows a hybrid work setup with three days each week in the office, although remote work may be considered for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with compensation programs such as job leveling, market matching, and career framework support, using AI-enabled tools where helpful to speed up analysis and improve consistency.
  • Help run annual compensation review cycles in compensation systems and People platforms, while finding ways to remove manual effort through automation and process simplification.
  • Support salary benchmarking and internal pay analysis, including participation in external compensation surveys to maintain market competitiveness and internal fairness.
  • Contribute to compensation activities across several regions while keeping local market practices in mind.
  • Look for opportunities to improve reward operations through automation, AI tools, and redesigned workflows, and help maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Own the administration and ongoing upkeep of bonus and incentive programs, including eligibility rules, targets, performance measures, and payout calculations.
  • Support the creation of scalable self-service resources that help employees and leaders understand pay philosophy, compensation decisions, and career frameworks.
  • Assist with pay equity reviews and audits to support fair and consistent compensation practices.
  • Ensure rewards and benefits practices follow applicable laws, internal policies, and governance requirements across multiple regions.
  • Contribute to People team projects and other related tasks as needed.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports covering headcount, compensation, and workforce trends.
  • Use advanced analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, automate analysis, and surface actionable insights.
  • Turn complex people data such as performance, engagement, and rewards information into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Work with People Ops, Finance, and Talent Acquisition to align data definitions, models, and reporting timelines.
  • Maintain strong data accuracy through validation, governance practices, and ongoing monitoring.

What You Bring

  • An undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business, Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in total rewards or compensation roles.
  • Direct experience supporting compensation programs such as benchmarking, incentive plans, job leveling, and annual review processes.
  • Exposure to compensation work across multiple regions and familiarity with local market practices.
  • Experience using salary benchmarking platforms such as Pave, Ravio, Radford, or Mercer.
  • Practical experience with HRIS, compensation systems, or analytics tools such as Workday, BambooHR, Visier, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Exposure to workflow automation or AI-enabled tools in an HR setting is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to interpret complex data and turn it into practical insight.
  • A systems-focused mindset with interest in automation, AI, and process improvement.
  • Advanced Excel capability, with experience using reporting and data visualization tools preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong data governance and quality-control habits.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain data and recommendations clearly to non-technical audiences.
