About the role

This position is for a Third Party Management Associate Advisor in Hyderabad, Telangana. The role sits within the Global Procurement, Third Party Management, and Shared Services (GPTPMS) organization, which delivers procurement-related support to the broader Cigna Group. It is a practical, execution-focused opportunity to help strengthen third-party management capabilities in the innovation hub and contribute to the future direction of procurement and TPM for the business.

The role requires close collaboration with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, with responsibility for supplier governance, supplier issue handling, supplier performance improvement, and risk reduction across supplier agreements.

Work schedule

The shift timing for this role is 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM IST.

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out supplier governance activities in the TPM tool for assigned vendors, including profiling suppliers, conducting research, reviewing spend, and completing other assigned tasks.
  • Support vendor assessments such as SLA checks, business continuity plan reviews, contact information updates, insurance certificate reviews, and similar evaluations.
  • Monitor supplier scorecards and survey data, and use this information to measure supplier performance and sentiment across the enterprise.
  • Support TPM colleagues and leaders with everyday supplier management, issue resolution, performance tracking, and related operational work.
  • Partner with sourcing teams, other TPM professionals, and business requesters to assist with supplier performance management and negotiation efforts.
  • Prepare reports and perform analysis on spend trends and supplier portfolios as required.
  • Analyze expiring contracts, renewals, and pipeline data to help business teams and strategic sourcing activities.
  • Process terminations and non-renewals of supplier agreements, making sure the supplier offboarding steps are completed correctly.

Required experience and qualifications

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Background in contracting or vendor management within indirect procurement.
  • Experience working in procurement or third-party management across onshore/offshore operating models.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical or business discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Exposure to third-party management platforms such as ProcessUnity, Ariba, or comparable procurement systems, as well as CLM tools like Icertis or similar solutions.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization and coordinating with internal partners to achieve business goals.
  • Experience across indirect procurement categories such as health and wellness, business process outsourcing, technology, corporate services, and related areas.
