Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Terminal Operations & Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Karwar, Karnataka. The role involves managing tank terminal operations, including gauging, sampling, and overseeing tank truck loading/unloading. Experience with chemical handling is a plus. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of terminal facilities such as storage tanks, pipelines, and various valve systems. This is a full-time, onsite position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily tank terminal operations.
• Perform product gauging and sampling.
• Manage stock accounting for various products.
• Supervise tank truck loading and unloading processes.
• Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of terminal facilities, including storage tanks and pipelines.
• Handle and manage liquid and potentially gas products.
• Maintain knowledge of various valve types and their operation.
• Assist with chemical handling as needed.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Tank Terminal Operations and Maintenance.
• Proficiency in tank farm operations, including gauging, sampling, and stock accounting.
• Familiarity with terminal infrastructure such as storage tanks, pipelines, and valves.
• Experience with tank truck loading and unloading procedures.
• Chemical handling experience is advantageous.
