Role overview
This contract opportunity is for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator supporting the post-offer stage of the hiring process. The position is fully remote across any province in Canada, with work scheduled in Eastern Time hours preferred. The assignment runs for 6 months and sits within the Post-Offer team of People, Culture & Branding, a group of 7 to 17 members.
What you'll do
- Handle post-offer workflow tasks such as requisition assignments, preparing offer letters, and tracking background screening progress.
- Keep work aligned to service-level targets and troubleshoot issues or errors in Workday.
- Coordinate with candidates, hiring managers, and other internal stakeholders to help create a seamless onboarding journey.
- Contribute to additional projects and support work as required.
Required experience and skills
Applicants should have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, though candidates with less experience may still be considered if they hold a postsecondary credential. The role calls for intermediate proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft 365, along with strong communication, collaboration, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Success in this position also requires the ability to work independently and manage time well.
Preferred background
Experience in recruiting or sourcing, hands-on exposure to Workday, a postsecondary degree, and prior work in a financial institution are considered advantages.
Additional details
Compensation is $28 to $33 per hour, excluding incorporation-specific tax considerations. This is a 6-month contract role. The role is fully remote and preference is given to candidates available during Eastern Time business hours.
