Role Overview
In this position, you will support donor operations and supporter communications for a mission-driven nonprofit. The role requires accuracy, strong organization, discretion with sensitive information, and a collaborative approach to service and administration.

Key Responsibilities
- Enter and process donations accurately and on time across multiple gift types, including online contributions, checks, stock gifts, and wire transfers, while following accounting and audit best practices.
- Handle donor acknowledgment workflows, including customized thank-you letters and timely issuance of tax receipts.
- Respond to donor questions by phone and email, offering professional and accurate support on donations, receipts, and general organizational inquiries.
- Assist in building dedicated giving pages for institutional partners and other important relationships.
- Support fundraising events and campaigns by preparing mail merges, managing RSVP tracking, assembling materials, and coordinating vendor-related needs.
- Partner with leadership and strategy teams to gather impact data and donor stories for external sharing.
- Keep CRM records accurate through cleanup, updates, and duplicate removal.
- Prepare donor briefings, dossiers, and profiles for advancement, executive, and board audiences.
- Protect confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and sound judgment.
- Work collaboratively, communicate clearly, and contribute to a strong sense of belonging within the team.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience handling gift entry and donor records in a CRM or donor database such as Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge, or Blackbaud products.
- Background in customer service within a busy, high-volume environment, especially by phone and email.
- Comfort using G Suite or Microsoft Office for administrative work, including mail merge tasks.
- Strong planning and problem-solving ability, with the capacity to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
