Role Overview

Eastlink is hiring a Student Locator for its Camrose, Alberta team. The successful applicant must live in, or be prepared to move to, the Camrose management area. This position sits within an experienced field technical group and focuses on identifying Eastlink underground plant and preparing the related drawings and maps that document its location. The role may also involve assisting with general labor tasks as needed.

Candidate Profile

A technical mindset is important, as is a commitment to safe work practices and Occupational Health & Safety standards. Applicants should be enrolled in a recognized Electronics program. Experience in repair and maintenance within the industry is considered an advantage.

Work Conditions and Additional Requirements

The role requires availability to travel throughout the region and possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. As part of hiring, a driver’s abstract and criminal background check will be requested.

Working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm, with possible weekend work. The job may require lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 90 lbs, working outdoors in poor weather such as snow, rain, and cold, and occasionally kneeling, crouching, or working overhead.
