It is intended for someone who enjoys working closely with children, can manage a classroom confidently, and is able to teach primary-level subjects in a structured setting.
MindSpace places strong emphasis on teacher development, offering up to 200 hours of professional training and accreditation so educators can deliver lessons with greater confidence and impact. In this role, you will not only supervise students during their after-school routine, but also guide learning, support development, and communicate regularly with parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Run the MindSpace programme in line with centre policies, curriculum structure, and the organisation’s teaching philosophy.
- Supervise students safely from drop-off onward and maintain a secure environment throughout the day.
- Support children with daily homework and help strengthen their understanding of schoolwork.
- Deliver structured MindChamps enrichment lessons for Primary 1 to Primary 5 students.
- Monitor each student’s progress and adjust support based on individual learning needs.
- Set up, manage, and keep teaching materials and classroom spaces organised and ready for use.
- Develop positive rapport with students and provide parents with regular updates on progress and development.
- Assist with centre operations and take on other related tasks assigned by the Centre Director.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant should hold at least a diploma in any field and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching primary school students. The role suits someone who is energetic, calm under pressure, well organised, and genuinely committed to helping children grow academically and personally.
Applicants who can teach two or more primary school subjects will have an advantage. Strong classroom management and clear parent communication are also important for success in this role.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range is S$2,550 to S$3,400 per month, with pay based on experience. In addition, the package includes performance bonus, yearly bonus, medical and dental coverage, parental leave, structured HQ training, ongoing mentorship, sponsorships for professional development, and opportunities for career advancement within a growing enrichment brand. The workplace environment is described as friendly and collaborative.
