About the Role
Are you eager to drive positive societal change and deepen your understanding of social work principles through practical experience? Join Pledge India Foundation as a Social Work intern to contribute towards empowering underprivileged communities nationwide. This internship provides hands-on involvement with impactful social initiatives focusing on education, health, and dignity for marginalized groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the assessment of needs and development of tailored intervention plans for individuals and families requiring assistance.
- Collaborate with social workers and allied professionals to deliver support services and resources to clients.
- Engage actively in outreach programs and public events to raise awareness regarding social challenges and available support.
- Assist in organizing and conducting support groups and educational workshops targeting issues like poverty, homelessness, and mental health.
- Advocate on behalf of clients applying social work methodologies to ensure their participation in decision-making processes.
- Maintain precise, secure, and confidential documentation of client engagements and progress metrics.
- Continuously update knowledge on social work best practices and contribute innovative ideas to enhance program effectiveness.
Candidate Eligibility
- Must be available to work remotely throughout the internship duration.
- Ability to commence the internship anytime between July 24, 2026, and August 28, 2026.
- Available to work for at least one week within the internship period.
- Possess relevant skills and keen interest in social work.
