Site Supervisor

Role Overview

Brookfield Primary School in Shirebrook is seeking a Site Supervisor to join the team as soon as possible. This role is focused on helping the school remain secure, well-maintained, and pleasant for pupils, staff, and visitors every day.

The school is a small and welcoming setting with a NOR of 150. Its ethos centres on the idea of being the best you can be, and the community is described as friendly, committed, and supportive.

What You Will Do

• Manage the opening and closing of the school premises.
• Handle routine upkeep, minor repairs, and regular site checks.
• Maintain site safety, security, and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Supervise external contractors and any work being carried out on site.
• Operate and monitor heating, lighting, and alarm systems.
• Assist with preparations and support for school events.
• Keep outdoor areas and the wider site clean, safe, and tidy.
