Senior Software Engineer - AI Trainer

Role overview

This position is for an experienced senior software engineer who wants to contribute to AI model improvement through coding work. You will join a large community of technology professionals working on tasks that help train and refine intelligent systems.

The work combines technical problem-solving with flexibility. Typical projects may involve creating and answering difficult programming challenges, developing polished applications with advanced features, and turning data into useful analysis and visualizations. Some contributors fit this alongside another full-time job, while others make it their primary work and pick assignments around their own availability.

How the process works

After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that acts as the screening step. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid tasks will be unlocked on the platform.

Responsibilities

• Build and solve varied coding challenges that support AI training, with a focus on Android development.
• Produce well-written code examples and explain solutions clearly and thoroughly.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, speed, and readability.
• Share feedback that helps improve the next generation of AI systems.

Qualifications

• Strong command of English at a native or bilingual level.
• Preferred background in Kotlin, along with proficiency in at least one relevant language or framework such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, or Swift.
• Good writing ability and solid grammar.
• Bachelor’s degree, completed or currently being pursued.
• Prior experience working as a software developer, coder, software engineer, or programmer is an advantage.

Contract and payment details

This is an independent contractor arrangement. Payment is made through PayPal, and the platform does not request any upfront payment from candidates. PayPal manages any currency conversion from USD.

Location and eligibility

The role is open only to applicants located in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand. Candidates outside these countries will not see assessments or work opportunities on the platform at this time.

Working style and compensation

You can choose the projects you want and decide when to work. The job is designed for independent scheduling, and you may work from your own computer. Hourly pay starts at $50 to $100+ per hour, with higher rates available for some assignments.
