Senior Quality Analyst

Role overview

This opportunity is for several senior QA professionals to take ownership of quality assurance in smart metering programs. The position is centered on building dependable, compliant, and high-performing quality practices for smart utility deployments.

The work will involve shaping ISO 9001-led quality systems, supervising meter testing and calibration, supporting audits, and pushing continuous improvement efforts across manufacturing, test, and field environments.

Key responsibilities

• Take the lead on quality assurance activities for smart metering solutions spanning manufacturing, testing, and on-site deployment.
• Set up, run, and continuously improve an ISO 9001-aligned quality management system.
• Manage meter testing and calibration activities while ensuring alignment with utility and regulatory expectations.
• Carry out audits and track corrective and preventive actions through to closure.
• Review performance data from the field and use it to identify quality gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Work closely with engineering, vendor, and operations teams to resolve quality issues and strengthen delivery.

Requirements

• At least 13 years of experience in QA for metering or smart utility systems.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is required.
• Certification in meter testing and calibration is required.
• Hands-on background in smart metering or AMI environments.
• Practical knowledge of utility standards and quality assurance methods.

Additional details

This role is being hired for multiple openings. The position is based in Doha, Qatar and follows a contract, on-site working arrangement.
