About the Role
Arcadis DPS Group focuses on project management, multi-discipline design, and construction management for pharmaceutical and life science facilities. From the Dublin office, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading major assignments through to successful completion, making sure they stay aligned with the agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations. The role reports to the Operations Director and includes close management of client relationships, hands-on project execution oversight, and support for business development to help win new work.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct project delivery so that scope, timeline, cost, quality, and margin objectives are all met.
- Create project plans and adjust them as needed to match client priorities and project requirements.
- Prepare clear progress reports and verify that all outputs meet required quality benchmarks.
- Track team performance, plan resource needs, and coordinate with operational teams across disciplines.
- Keep stakeholders informed with regular communication, including updates to the Operations Director.
- Develop lasting client partnerships and help generate repeat business.
- Assist with client presentations, prepare commercial proposals, and contribute to wider company initiatives.
Experience and Skills Required
- A minimum of 10 years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical sector, including delivery of projects in the €60M to €100M+ range.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, with Chemical or Process Engineering preferred, along with PMI certification or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong commercial judgement, solid knowledge of construction contracts, and a proven record of delivering projects successfully.
