About the Role
In this position, you will develop scalable, reliable systems that support modern financial services. You will work in a cloud-native setting and take responsibility for services that are central to the platform. This is a practical, hands-on role suited to engineers who value full ownership and technical quality.
You will design and run cloud-native microservices within a modern distributed architecture, partnering with product, architecture, and DevOps teams to deliver dependable, scalable solutions. You will also help shape the technical direction and strengthen engineering standards across the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native microservices for the financial services platform.
- Build resilient and scalable backend systems using Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot.
- Take ownership of features from initial design through implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Improve CI/CD workflows and infrastructure-as-code practices using modern DevOps tools.
- Support team growth by mentoring colleagues and promoting quality through code reviews, testing, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Multiple years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong emphasis on backend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and/or Kotlin, along with frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Practical experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS and Kubernetes-based environments.
- Good understanding of distributed systems, software architecture, and design patterns.
- Experience working with databases and messaging technologies such as PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
