Security Penetration Tester

Role overview

This position is for a Security Penetration Tester based in Singapore. The role centers on evaluating the security of web applications, mobile applications, and microsites, then turning the findings into clear reports and practical remediation guidance.

What you will do

• Carry out penetration testing across web, mobile, and microsite environments and document the findings in a formal report.
• Follow up on test outcomes, verify the next steps, and perform additional security checks when needed.
• Test designated security targets and deliver results to customers within the required timeline.
• Recommend corrective actions to help close identified security gaps.

Requirements

• A diploma or degree in Information Security, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in web penetration testing.
• Solid understanding of IT systems.
• Good people skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
• Strong interest in IT security, technology, and networking.

Preferred profile

• Professional penetration testing certifications are an advantage.
• At least 1 year of programming experience, including coding and algorithms.
• Experience managing enterprise-grade cybersecurity solutions.
• Hands-on exposure to Windows and Linux server environments.
• Strong technical depth with a sharp approach to analytical problem-solving.
• A proactive team player who is self-driven, motivated, and focused on results.
• Well-developed communication, documentation, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Background in networking, system administration, and infrastructure architecture.

Work location

The role is based at 61 Tai Seng Avenue, Print Media Hub @ Paya Lebar iPark, Singapore.
