Overview
An established Mercedes-Benz dealership in Dartford is looking for a proactive and well-organised Sales Progressor to support its internal sales operation. The role suits someone who enjoys keeping sales activity moving smoothly, coordinating across departments, and ensuring customers receive a high standard of service throughout the vehicle handover journey.
What the role involves
You will take ownership of the administrative and coordination tasks that keep vehicle sales progressing. Working closely with the internal Sales Team and Logistics, you will track orders, provide status updates, help resolve delays, and make sure vehicles are delivered on schedule and to the expected standard.
Core duties
- Keep the Sales Team updated regularly and professionally on order progress, estimated delivery dates, and any actions needed.
- Work with Sales Consultants, Aftersales, and Parts teams to get vehicles ready for handover.
- Spot possible delays or issues early and raise them with the Sales Manager, along with suggested next steps.
- Deal with internal queries tactfully and professionally, escalating concerns to the right manager when needed.
- Help improve sales progression workflows, paperwork, and internal communication methods.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant will have experience supporting sales within a dealership, administration, or vehicle progression role, preferably in a franchised automotive setting. You should be highly organised, comfortable juggling several priorities, and able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally with a customer-focused approach. Confidence with CRM and DMS platforms, along with Microsoft Office, is important. A strong eye for detail, a collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to solving problems are also key.
Working pattern
This position is based at Mercedes-Benz and smart in Dartford. The role is typically 45 hours per week, usually between 8am and 6pm.
