Role Overview
This opportunity is for a chemistry professional who can assist in training AI models. The work involves testing chatbot responses, checking their reasoning, and helping refine model quality through careful evaluation and problem-solving.
What You’ll Do
- Pose challenging chemistry questions to AI chatbots and review the answers they generate.
- Assess model outputs for scientific accuracy, logic, and overall performance.
Who This Role Suits
Applicants should already have strong expertise in chemistry. A Master’s or PhD that is currently underway, completed, or in progress is preferred, though it is not mandatory. Relevant backgrounds may include Research and Development Chemist, Formulation Scientist, Development Chemist, Analytical Chemist, Chemical Engineer, Medicinal Chemist, Biochemist, and Process Development Chemist.

Qualifications
- Native-level or bilingual fluency in English.

- A Master’s and/or PhD that is current, ongoing, or completed is preferred but not required.
Payment and Terms
Payments are issued through PayPal, and any currency conversion from USD is handled by PayPal. No payment or fee will ever be requested from applicants. This role is open only to candidates located in New Zealand and is offered as an independent contractor position.
