Role overview

This position is for a meticulous and analytical Research Analyst who will contribute to better business decisions through thorough research, data interpretation, and insight creation. The work centers on gathering information from varied sources, evaluating it carefully, and turning it into practical takeaways about trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.

The analyst may research markets, industries, competitors, customers, or financial and operational information, depending on the assignment. The goal is to convert unstructured data into clear, organized findings that can support strategy, planning, and performance improvement.

What you will do

You will plan and carry out research tasks, collect data from dependable sources, analyze both qualitative and quantitative inputs, and build reports and presentations that communicate findings clearly. The role also includes supporting stakeholders with insights that help shape business strategy, product direction, and day-to-day operational choices.

Other ongoing work may include tracking industry and market movements, maintaining research repositories, helping with surveys or other data-collection exercises, and checking that all outputs remain accurate and consistent. You will also work with teams across the organization to define research questions and make sure the results are relevant and useful.

In addition, you may be asked to benchmark competitors, monitor key performance indicators, assist with forecasting or scenario-based analysis, and help improve research methods and workflows over time.

Required profile

The right candidate should be organized, naturally curious, and comfortable handling complex information and datasets. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a commitment to data quality are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications and skills

Applicants should have strong experience in interpreting data, using structured research approaches, and presenting findings in a clear, professional format. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is expected, along with familiarity with research and analysis tools. Strong English communication skills are also important, both written and spoken.

You should be able to spot patterns, trends, and meaningful insights from large and complex sets of information, while staying organized and meeting deadlines. Knowledge of data analysis, visualization, or business intelligence tools will be considered an added advantage. The role also calls for independence, teamwork, a problem-solving mindset, adaptability, and a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
