Rutherford is hiring motivated Recruitment Researchers to join its established South African office. This role is part of a collaborative talent-prospecting team within a long-running business with more than 15 years of experience. The position also offers the chance to work closely with one of the UK’s most experienced legal recruitment leaders.
Role Overview
In this role, you will work with the London team to understand law-firm briefs for senior vacancies and support the search for suitable legal talent. The job combines research, candidate mapping, outreach, screening, and pipeline development, with a strong focus on specialist legal recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the London recruitment team to understand client briefs for senior legal roles.
- Identify, map, contact, screen, and help secure suitable legal candidates.
- Conduct digital talent research and prospecting.
- Support the growth and maintenance of candidate pipelines for demanding clients.
- Build a deeper understanding of how to position roles more effectively to target candidates.
- Research and map candidate markets within specialist legal areas.
- Stay informed on relevant sector developments and market intelligence.
- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns for clients and candidates.
- Arrange interview schedules.
- Respond to candidate queries professionally.
- Track important online sources and information channels relevant to the role.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant should have completed a degree or national qualification, bring prior sales experience, and demonstrate strong work ethic and good judgment. Legal sector knowledge is helpful but not mandatory. The role also calls for excellent organisation, accuracy, speed, diligence, and strong written English.
