Role Overview
Composites One is hiring a Recruitment Coordinator to handle the operational and administrative side of talent acquisition. The role supports a smooth hiring process by managing interviews, completing first-round candidate outreach and phone screening, maintaining applicant data, and assisting with hiring-related tasks across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange and coordinate interviews, both virtual and in-person, with multiple hiring partners.
- Keep candidates informed about interview details, confirmations, follow-ups, and progress updates.
- Complete initial phone screens using the company’s screening guidelines.
- Update the applicant tracking system (UKG) accurately and on time, including status changes and dispositioning.
- Assist with early-stage candidate evaluation using set criteria and prepared screening questions.
- Manage candidate assessments when assigned and record results promptly.
- Monitor recruiting progress so candidates move through the process without unnecessary delays.
- Provide administrative and workflow support to the Talent Acquisition team, including offer letters and pre-employment contingency steps.
- Help deliver a professional and consistent candidate experience at every stage of hiring.
Required Experience and Qualifications
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in recruiting support, recruiting coordination, talent acquisition, or HR support. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 is needed. Experience in a fast-moving or high-volume environment is important, along with prior use of an applicant tracking system; UKG experience is a strong advantage. The role also calls for excellent organization, strong attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication, the ability to juggle multiple priorities independently, and discretion when handling confidential candidate information.
Work Location and Schedule
This is a hybrid position based in the company’s Schaumburg, Illinois office. The schedule requires onsite work on Tuesday and Thursday, plus one additional rotating in-office day each week. The remaining workdays are remote.

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $26.50 to $28.00, depending on experience and qualifications, in line with applicable state law.
