Role overview
Portico is seeking a poised and confident Receptionist / Office Administrator to represent the front of house service at a prestigious London location. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the overall welcome experience for the office and acting as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff.
The role calls for a professional presence, strong service standards, and the ability to create a smooth and memorable arrival experience through genuine interaction, efficiency, and a friendly approach. You will also work alongside other on-site service partners to support a coordinated, team-based service model.
Key duties
This role covers guest reception and administrative support, with responsibilities including greeting visitors and VIPs, handling meeting room coordination, answering telephone calls, assisting with event administration, supporting client engagement, delivering hospitality, keeping the office environment well organised, and arranging hotel and travel bookings.
Working hours and compensation
The position is for 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled between 8:30 and 17:30, Monday to Friday. The salary for the role is £33,000 per year.
Candidate profile
Applicants should be able to show a strong understanding of excellent service and a clear motivation to deliver it consistently. A keen eye for detail and a willingness to go the extra mile are expected. Experience in a corporate environment or a premium hotel setting, along with some administrative background, would be an advantage.
