Stellenbeschreibung

About the role

ICON plc is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research company focused on advancing clinical development. The organization promotes an inclusive workplace where innovation, high performance, and professional growth are valued.

This opening is for a Proposals Development Associate at different levels. In this role, you will help build client proposals that support clinical trial programs and the development of new treatments and therapies.

What you will do

  • Take ownership of preparing and shaping client proposals, including pricing inputs, project timelines, and statements of work.
  • Work with teams across clinical operations, project management, and finance to collect the information needed and keep proposals accurate and complete.
  • Research client needs, competitor activity, and market movements to guide proposal strategy.
  • Coordinate the proposal workflow by monitoring progress, organizing review stages, and making sure internal steps and deadlines are followed.
  • Keep proposal templates, records, databases, and supporting tools updated so the process remains efficient.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business administration, or a closely related subject.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in proposal development, clinical research, or a similar role in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO sector.
  • Strong organizational ability and a sharp eye for detail, with the capacity to handle several tasks and deadlines at once.
  • Clear written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information in a concise way.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with proposal management tools or CRM systems is an added advantage.

Benefits and culture

ICON offers competitive pay along with benefits designed to support well-being and work-life balance for employees and their families. Depending on the country, these may include annual leave, health insurance options, retirement planning support, employee assistance resources, life assurance, and flexible optional benefits such as childcare vouchers, bike purchase schemes, discounted gym memberships, subsidized travel passes, and health assessments.

Equal opportunity and accessibility

ICON is committed to inclusion, belonging, and a workplace free from discrimination and harassment. All qualified applicants are considered equally regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.

If you need a reasonable accommodation during the application process or to perform essential job duties because of a medical condition or disability, you may request support.

Additional note

Even if you do not meet every requirement, you are encouraged to apply if the role interests you, as there may be a fit for this or other opportunities within ICON.
