About the Role
Mace brings together delivery expertise and consultancy capability to help shape better outcomes for projects and people. The organisation is looking for Project Managers with water-sector experience to support a nationwide water body on water-related programmes and projects.
This opportunity is available across the country for candidates with the right background. The working model is hybrid, with travel expected around 1 to 2 days each week.
What You Will Do
- Guide project plans from the initial brief through to final completion.
- Bring together design, procurement and technical support activities.
- Track progress against programme, budget, risk controls and project records.
- Make sure quality processes are consistent with the Mace Way.
- Work with stakeholders and take the lead on project activity.
- Coordinate consultants, contractors and available resources.
- Embed safety practices and net-zero thinking into delivery.
- Keep plans current and record project changes accurately.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will hold a degree and bring experience from construction, engineering or project management. Professional affiliation with RICS, CIOB, APM or ICE, or equivalent development, is expected.
Applicants should have strong capability in stakeholder engagement, commercial awareness and leadership. Prior experience in water, utilities or civil infrastructure is important, along with an understanding of sustainability and carbon impacts.
