Project Management Specialist

Overview

This contract role is for a Project Management Specialist who will work remotely with AI development teams. The position focuses on bringing practical project management expertise into AI training and evaluation efforts, with a weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours. Compensation is set at USD 63 to 119 per hour.

What you'll do

• Partner with AI teams to share informed guidance on planning, allocating resources, and handling project risks.
• Create and review training content so it reflects strong project management practices across a range of industries.
• Turn real-world project management situations into detailed, data-driven examples that can help improve AI models.
• Support technical team members and act as a client-facing point of contact to keep goals and deliverables aligned.
• Explain leadership, prioritization, and stakeholder communication practices clearly for AI learning content.
• Regularly assess AI-generated outputs and make refinements to improve accuracy, usefulness, and relevance.

Requirements

• Solid, hands-on experience managing projects end to end across different industries and project sizes.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong planning, organization, and analytical skills, including budgeting and resource oversight.
• Good judgment in assessing risks, planning mitigations, and adapting to changing project conditions.
