The firm works with corporates, founders, and investor-backed businesses on complex deals, market expansion, and building long-term value.
MVG also works with a selected network of family offices, institutional investors, and strategic partners to unlock long-term capital and cross-border opportunities. MVG acts as the dedicated management company for RegalEarth Group, a Dubai-based mining capital business. In this capacity, MVG handles strategic direction, corporate governance, and operational oversight for RegalEarth’s portfolio and project companies. The company is currently recruiting for a key on-the-ground role linked to one of RegalEarth’s project companies in Somaliland.
Role Purpose
The Project Coordinator will act as a central coordination point across multiple Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), project entities, and strategic initiatives within the group. This position is responsible for keeping several concurrent projects aligned with business goals, governance requirements, budgets, and timelines.
This is broader than a standard project management role. It involves monitoring multiple SPV structures, reviewing performance, enabling collaboration across functions, and supporting executive decisions across the group’s international operations.
Reporting Structure
- Reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
- Works in close partnership with Executive Management, Finance, Legal & Compliance, Operations, and project leadership teams.
Key Duties
- Track and oversee the progress of several SPVs, project companies, and strategic initiatives across different jurisdictions.
- Keep a clear view of project milestones, operating budgets, performance indicators, and delivery status.
- Make sure project entities stay aligned with approved business plans and governance structures.
- Set up and maintain project management standards, reporting formats, and operational processes.
- Coordinate communication among project teams, executives, advisors, and outside stakeholders.
- Arrange project review meetings, management briefings, and executive reporting sessions.
- Support the CEO and executive team in assessing project opportunities, operational priorities, and resource allocation.
- Follow up on strategic objectives and help maintain accountability across project teams.
- Monitor budgets, spending, forecasts, and overall project performance.
- Prepare executive summaries and management updates on project performance and risk exposure.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A master’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience is needed.
- Strong written and spoken English is mandatory.
- Mandarin language ability is an advantage.
- Solid project coordination, organization, and leadership capabilities are expected.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively across functions is essential.
- Comfort with AI-supported productivity tools, project management platforms, and reporting systems is required.
- A strong sense of confidentiality, integrity, and professional conduct is necessary.
- The role calls for a high level of professionalism, accountability, and leadership.
Working Conditions
This position is located in Dubai, UAE, and involves frequent interaction with executive leaders, project teams, consultants, government stakeholders, and business partners across multiple jurisdictions.
The role is full-time and requires flexibility to work across different time zones because of international projects and stakeholders.
Regular domestic and international travel may be required, with travel estimated at 40% to 60% of working time.
