This internship is based in Jebel Ali, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with Nestlé Dubai Manufacturing LLC. It runs for 3 months in the Production (Manufacturing) department. The expected start date is either 15 July 2026 or 1 August 2026.

About the Role

This opportunity is for a student or recent graduate who wants practical exposure in a high-performing food manufacturing setting. As a Production Intern, you will contribute to projects across Confectionery and Nutrition production areas, working alongside production teams, line operators, subject-matter experts and other stakeholders. The assignment focuses on digital transformation, process improvement, reducing losses and strengthening shop-floor capability.

What You Will Do

• Help introduce and implement a digital training system on production lines by converting SOPs and work instructions into digital formats, supporting validation with subject-matter experts and monitoring line-by-line readiness.
• Partner with operators and production staff to build awareness of digital tools, encourage early adoption and collect feedback from the shop floor.
• Review production workflows, material losses, downtime and waste patterns to spot improvement opportunities in processing and packaging.
• Support the creation of structured data tracking tools, daily production and waste reports, and Power BI dashboards that improve visibility into performance and loss trends.
• Investigate how AI and analytics can be used to detect patterns, anticipate risk conditions and propose data-backed improvements.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, hygiene and compliance while working in a factory environment.

Requirements

We are looking for a final-year student or someone who has recently completed a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Automation, Manufacturing, Food Technology, Data Analytics, or a similar discipline. The role requires a driving licence or dependable personal transport because the plant is located in Jebel Ali. Applicants must also already hold a valid UAE residence visa, Emirates ID and medical insurance.

Ideal candidates will have a genuine interest in manufacturing operations, continuous improvement and digital transformation, along with solid analytical and problem-solving ability. Experience using Advanced Excel, Power BI, data visualisation tools or other digital systems will be valuable. You should be comfortable spending time on the factory floor, working with shop-floor teams, and bringing strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management and time-management skills. A curious, proactive mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-moving production environment are important.
