Production Executive

Role Overview

This opening is for a Production Executive/Officer in a spices processing unit serving an FMCG company in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. The role is centered on running production operations in line with product specifications, food-safety expectations, and plant compliance standards.

Job Purpose

The position exists to make sure spice products are processed correctly in the facility while meeting quality requirements and food safety norms.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the processing of spices and related products within the plant.
• Confirm that output matches customer-specific quality and specification requirements.
• Ensure raw materials are available for planned production runs.
• Support preventive maintenance as well as breakdown maintenance activities for plant equipment.
• Help with the installation of new machines and equipment.
• Participate in periodic repair work and upkeep of the processing facility.
• Guide service-provider staff in the operation of electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.
• Set machine parameters as required for specific products during production.
• Maintain the working settings and operating standards of machinery and equipment.
• Ensure strong adherence to GHK, GMP, and hygiene practices on the shop floor.
• Support quality audits and other statutory or internal audit processes.
• Assist during customer visits and plant inspections.
• Work with the maintenance team to implement preventive maintenance systems for plant machinery.
• Help reduce electricity costs through proper maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Manage finished-goods yield and follow procedures that protect quality.
• Carry out shift responsibilities, including necessary electrical and mechanical maintenance coordination.
• Make sure all processing activities comply with quality systems and legal/statutory rules.
• Stay current on electrical and mechanical features of modern food-processing machines.
• Handle ERP data entry accurately.
• Deliver the targeted production output for the assigned shift.
• Maintain strict compliance with customer requirements and applicable regulations during production.

Requirements

• Educational qualification should be B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in production roles.
• Experience should be from FMCG, food processing, or beverage manufacturing environments.
