In this role, you will collaborate across functions to steer products from conception to launch, bridging the technical and business aspects. You will be adept at dissecting complex challenges into actionable steps for product development. Our Product Management team is integral to Google's consistent delivery of innovative, world-changing products, working closely with engineers, designers, and marketers to create technologies that enhance access to global information. We are responsible for guiding products through their entire lifecycle, focusing on analysis, positioning, packaging, promotion, and tailoring solutions to user needs.

You will be responsible for a significant product area, driving new features from initial discovery through to launch. This involves direct partnership with an Android engineering team in Singapore, alongside collaboration with global teams, to advance Google Wallet and Google Pay. Your work will result in tangible improvements to how users manage their daily essentials.

Responsibilities

• Define product objectives and roadmaps for specific components within the Wallet Android application, overseeing features from initial concept to launch and ongoing refinement.
• Engage daily with the Singapore-based engineering team and global User Experience (UX) teams to design, develop, and release high-quality consumer interfaces.
• Translate overarching Wallet account goals into practical mobile features that provide genuine value to users' daily lives.
• Utilize user research, market intelligence, and product performance data to set priorities, manage trade-offs, and evaluate success.
• Coordinate with other Product Managers and cross-functional teams in San Francisco, Mountain View, and New York to ensure seamless integration of your features into the broader Google Wallet and Google Pay ecosystem.

Minimum Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Accumulate at least 5 years of experience in product management or a comparable technical field.
• Have 2 years of experience in developing or launching features for consumer-facing applications.
• Gain 2 years of experience in mobile product development, with a specific focus on the Android ecosystem.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building, launching, and iterating on global consumer products at a massive scale.
• Demonstrate domain expertise or prior experience in mobile payments, digital wallets, identity management, or fintech.
• Exhibit the ability to navigate and resolve complex infrastructure issues within large-scale technical environments.
• Show a proven capacity for effective collaboration with distributed teams across various time zones and international offices.
• Possess a history of transforming complex, ambiguous problem areas into clear, actionable product roadmaps.
