Produce Stocker

Role overview

As a Produce Stocker with Walmart Canada, you’ll contribute to the day-to-day success of the retail floor by keeping the produce department organized, well-stocked, and customer-ready. This role is centered on delivering strong customer service while maintaining product quality, cleanliness, and merchandising standards in a busy store environment.

Key duties

• Keep the department organized and properly zoned.
• Turn inventory regularly and remove expired items from sale.
• Make sure products are labeled, signed, and priced correctly.
• Follow cold-chain rules, including thermometer calibration, temperature logs, food handling practices, rotation standards, sell-by dates, and expiration tracking.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures at all times.
• Carry out ordering-related tasks, as well as clearance, markdown, markup, signage, flagging, and pricing label processes.
• Ensure the area stays fully stocked and prepared for customers and business operations.
• Work in line with health and safety requirements.
• Restock merchandise, handle picking tasks, downstock where applicable, apply product protection when needed, and complete modular setups, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.

Compensation

The minimum starting pay for this position is $17.20 per hour.
