Key responsibilities

  • Manage supplier performance after award, including scorecards, business reviews, and corrective action follow-up.
  • Work with vendor management and business owners to reduce supplier-related performance, financial, and operational risks.
  • Lead, coach, and develop procurement team members to build a collaborative, high-performing function.
  • Strengthen team capability in negotiation, analytics, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking.

  • Take on additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Finance, Operations, or a similar discipline.
  • At least 6 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management, with team leadership exposure.
  • Strong hands-on experience with RFIs/RFPs, supplier negotiations, contract management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Advanced analytical ability, including spend analysis, financial modeling, and business case development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across seniority levels.
  • Self-directed problem solver who can work through ambiguity, manage priorities, lead change, and continuously improve performance.

Desired competencies

  • Ability to think strategically and anticipate market developments.
  • Strong stakeholder influence and relationship-building skills.
  • Sound judgment supported by data, analysis, and scenario evaluation.
  • Leadership style that coaches, motivates, and develops others.
  • Consistent execution with attention to rigor, discipline, and operational quality.
