Stellenbeschreibung
Overview
KIMS Hospital is seeking a Physiotherapist to work across Maidstone, Sevenoaks and Orpington. This is a permanent role offering 40 hours per week with a salary in the range of £30,400 to £31,500.
This opportunity is aimed at newly qualified physiotherapists or those at the early stage of their career who want to build experience in a busy, patient-focused setting. The role offers exposure to a wide and varied caseload, close guidance from experienced clinicians, and the chance to develop across inpatient orthopaedic and outpatient musculoskeletal services.
Role purpose
The position is designed for someone who wants to grow professionally while contributing to high-quality rehabilitation and therapy services across multiple sites. You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical practice, support service improvement, and work within a multidisciplinary environment.
Key responsibilities
You will independently assess and manage musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and inpatient cases, while delivering evidence-based therapy tailored to patient needs. The role also involves collaborating with Consultants, GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth and coordinated care.
In addition, you will take part in Personal Performance & Development Reviews and contribute to the evolution of the service through audits, research activity and the adoption of new treatment approaches and technologies.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate will hold a BSc in Physiotherapy, or an equivalent qualification, together with current HCPC registration. A genuine interest in musculoskeletal and inpatient orthopaedic work is essential, along with a strong commitment to patient-centred care and ongoing professional growth.
Experience in a clinical or hospital environment, whether gained through placement or after qualification, would be an advantage. Interest in clinical teaching, service improvement or innovative care delivery is also desirable.
What you can expect
The hospital offers structured development opportunities, including rotation across different sites and service areas. You will join a supportive team environment that values clinical quality and gives you the chance to influence how services are delivered.
Working here also means handling complex and varied caseloads within a forward-looking, clinician-led organisation.
Benefits
Employees receive a competitive salary, 33 days of annual leave plus additional time off for their birthday, and free secure staff parking. The package also includes a pension scheme, private health insurance, life assurance, up to 40% off selected hospital services, an employee assistance platform, retail discounts and cashback, discounted gym membership, annual flu vaccination and a free eye test.
Equal opportunity and compliance
KIMS Hospital states that it is committed to diversity and inclusion, and aims to maintain a workplace that reflects the communities it serves. The organisation identifies as an equal opportunities employer and a disability confident employer.
Any job offer for this position will be subject to proof of the right to work in the UK and a satisfactory DBS certificate from the Disclosure & Barring Service.
